How much does a shoot at Malhara House cost?
Garden Morning is ₹18,000, Garden Romance ₹30,000, Malhara Elegance ₹45,000 and The Malhara Experience ₹89,000. All prices include GST. See what each one includes.
What is the difference between the packages?
Garden Romance is three hours in the gardens and around the ground floor of the house. Malhara Elegance is four hours and adds the Grand Hall, its internal balcony and the rooftop chatri. The Malhara Experience is also four hours, and adds a vintage car at the porch, the air-conditioned guest room, tea with snacks at the chatri and a round-trip taxi within Jaipur. Garden Morning is a shorter, two-hour session in the gardens, held in the morning.
Do you host maternity, family and anniversary shoots?
Yes. Pre-wedding shoots lead, and we also host maternity, family and anniversary shoots. Garden Morning suits them well.
Is the vintage car included?
The vintage car is part of The Malhara Experience. It is at the porch for two hours within the shoot.
On the day
What time do shoots take place?
Package shoots are timed around golden hour and run on through dusk, so the slot moves with the season. As a guide, a four-hour shoot runs from 2.30pm to 6.30pm between November and January, and from 4.00pm to 8.00pm between May and August. Garden Morning runs in a morning slot. Can we shoot after sunset?
Package shoots run on through dusk, and the garden has lights near the trees, so the time after sunset is still usable. We do not offer night shoots.
Will there be another shoot at the house during ours?
No. We host one shoot at a time, and no other shoot is on site during yours.
Do you provide a photographer?
No. You bring your own photographer, and we provide the house.
How many people can we bring?
Up to five people, including the photography team. A larger crew is by arrangement, where a shoot needs it.
Is there somewhere to get ready?
Yes. Every package includes a dressing room and bathroom suite, so you can get ready at the house.
Is there parking?
A small amount of parking is available.
Which languages are spoken at the house?
English and Hindi.

When is the best time of year for a shoot?
Our peak season is September to May, when the weather is kinder. We are open year-round, though the summer heat makes those months quieter.
How do we book?
Send us an enquiry with your preferred dates and the package that interests you. Reservations responds personally within two working days, with the dates currently available. A booking is confirmed once payment is made.
How do we pay?
Payment is made in full before the shoot.
Can we cancel?
If you cancel more than 30 days before the shoot, we refund your payment in full. If you cancel between 8 and 30 days before, we refund half. Within 7 days of the shoot, or if you do not arrive, there is no refund.
Can we change the date?
You can move your shoot to another date once, free of charge, with at least 7 days' notice and subject to availability.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Shoots are not refunded or discounted because of the weather. If bad weather stops a shoot, we offer one free reschedule, subject to availability; a particular new date cannot be guaranteed.
