Malhara House is a private home in Jaipur, opened to one shoot at a time. This page is for the photographers who bring couples here.
You choose the location and your couple trusts your eye. What we offer is a real house with three settings in one place, nobody else on site, and a team that keeps the day simple and stays out of the frame.
The house is circular in plan and clad in white marble, with carved arches, a Grand Hall ringed by an internal balcony, a rooftop chatri, and a dome topped by a cupid statue. Tour the house or look through the gallery.
What you have to work with
The house, the light and the day.
- Privacy
- One shoot at a time. No other shoot is on site during yours, so there is no waiting and no strangers in the frame.
- Settings
- The gardens and ground-floor exteriors, the Grand Hall with its internal balcony, and the rooftop chatri beside the dome. Which of these you have depends on the package.
- Light
- Package shoots are timed around golden hour and run on through dusk. The garden has lights near the trees, so the time after sunset is still usable. Shoot times by season
- Mornings
- Garden Morning is a two-hour session in the gardens, in soft morning light.
- Getting ready
- Every package includes a dressing room and bathroom suite, so your couple can get ready at the house.
- Crew
- Up to five people, including the couple and your team. A larger crew is by arrangement, where a shoot needs it.

- A small amount of parking is available

How it works
From enquiry to shoot day.
- You or your couple send an enquiry, with the preferred dates and the package. Packages and prices are published, and include GST.
- Reservations responds personally within two working days, with the dates currently available and answers to any practical questions.
- The booking is confirmed once payment is made. Payment is made in full before the shoot.
- On the day, the house is prepared for your shoot alone. We look after the couple and keep out of your way.

Your work stays yours.
We publish photographs from a shoot only with the couple's permission and yours, and we credit you when we do.
